Hope Foundation-BICM is a U.S.-based nonprofit supporting humanitarian work in Kenya, with a focus on reliable water, school feeding, sanitation, education and sustainable community infrastructure.

Humanitarian service rooted in long-term commitment.
Hope Foundation-BICM has supported mission and humanitarian work in Kenya, including clean-water initiatives. Our current direction expands that foundation into integrated water, WASH, nutrition, education and community-resilience programming.
We combine field reporting, responsible stewardship, technical assessment and community participation to develop projects that can be measured, maintained and improved over time.

Project #1 • Turkana County
Kalotum School & Community Resilience Initiative
A pilot integrating water security, school feeding, WASH, education infrastructure and evidence-based humanitarian management.
The need
Current school records report 238 enrolled children. Village elders estimate approximately 680 children ages 5–16 in the wider community; that broader estimate is not school enrollment and will be verified during baseline work.
Water
The planned scope is a new borehole and solar pumping system with storage and distribution, guided by hydrogeological assessment, test pumping and water-quality analysis.
School infrastructure
The working program includes four classrooms, an eight-door ablution block, and a complete dining hall and kitchen, subject to contractor reconciliation and final procurement.
Nutrition
The Turkana Field Team developed a school-feeding plan for 238 children, with breakfast porridge and weekday lunch. The current annual planning allocation is $32,300 including contingency.

Major infrastructure + annual feeding allocation. Remaining non-duplicative monitoring, safeguarding, logistics and allowable administration are still being finalized.
